Terms of Service
Last updated: August 31, 2026 · These terms are between you and BigTopa, LLC ("GreekHouse").
These terms govern access to and use of the GreekHouse platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you're agreeing on behalf of a chapter or organization, you represent that you're authorized to bind that organization.
The service
GreekHouse provides software for Greek organizations to manage rosters, dues and finances, recruitment and intake, events, communications, and community, including payment processing through third-party providers. Features available to you depend on your subscription tier and configuration.
Accounts & eligibility
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be responsible for activity under your account. You must be of legal age to form a binding contract. Organizations are responsible for the conduct of their officers, members, new members, and advisors on the platform.
Acceptable use
- No hazing. Don't use the service to plan, coordinate, direct, document, or encourage hazing or any conduct that endangers, humiliates, or coerces a member or potential new member.
- Don't use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive collection of dues, fees, or donations.
- Don't misrepresent what a payment is for or how funds will be used.
- Don't upload unlawful, infringing, harassing, or harmful content, or violate others' privacy.
- Don't disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, and we may report conduct to appropriate authorities where required or where we believe someone is at risk of harm.
National organizations & host institutions
Your chapter is responsible for complying with the policies of its national or international organization, its host institution, and its governing council, including any rules about record-keeping, recruitment, finances, and member conduct. GreekHouse is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any national or international Greek organization, university, or governing council unless expressly stated in writing.
Chapters, alumni groups & links
Each chapter, alumni association, and graduate chapter controls its own data and configuration. Organizations are linked only with mutual, opt-in consent; each side is responsible for what it chooses to share through the areas it enables and may end a link at any time.
Dues, payments & fees
Payments are processed by Stripe and other providers, subject to their terms. Chapters are responsible for setting dues and fees, for the tax treatment, receipting, and disbursement of funds they collect, and for their own entity and tax status. GreekHouse is not a party to any dues obligation between a chapter and its members and does not collect dues on its own behalf. Subscription fees, processing fees, and any other charges are described in your order or at pricing and are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated.
Intellectual property
GreekHouse and its software are owned by BigTopa, LLC and its licensors. You retain ownership of the content you upload, and grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the service. Chapter names, letters, crests, and marks remain the property of their respective organizations.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee recruitment, fundraising, or membership results, and we are not responsible for the offline conduct of any organization or its members.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GreekHouse will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost funds, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms or to protect the service or its users. On termination, organizations may export their data subject to applicable law and record-keeping requirements.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "last updated" date; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Castle County, Delaware, unless otherwise required by law.
